HCV Weekend Reading- DAA Treatment Webcast: A Guide for Managing the HCV Epidemic

Greetings,
Most weekends this blog offers up a few substantial links to relevant HCV information, research and education, click here for previous "Weekend Reading" articles.

Today, I wanted to update readers on the new CME webcast offered at "Projects In Knowledge".

By viewing any CME at Projects In Knowledge, hepatitis C patients are given an opportunity to learn more about the promising new drugs undergoing clinical trials, and those currently in clinical practice.  Although, like any site offering continuing medical education (CME), it requires a free quick registration.

On May 29 "Projects In Knowledge" published a new webcast on the HCV epidemic with Ira M. Jacobson, MD, and Hashem B. El-Serag, MD, MPH. The topics include; CDC guidelines, DAAs, FDA approved PIs, SVR12, and Interferon free regimens in development, ending with a roundtable discussion.
