In this on-demand webcast, HIV treaters learn how their current expertise in complex viral infections and related public health concerns, combined with new knowledge about emerging direct-acting antiviral therapies and other exciting approaches for treating hepatitis C, are creating important opportunities for them to manage and treat patients with HCV infection.

Investigations of other CAM interventions (including natural products, dietary supplements, acupuncture or traditional Chinese medicine) are not allowed. Patients who stretched and meditated once a week as part of the "Yoga of Awareness" pilot program had significantly greater improvements in symptom scores, including pain, fatigue, and depression, than those who were wait-listed for the program.

In Memory
For almost a quarter-century, Randy Allgaier battled HIV and AIDS, a fight he waged with ferocity inside his own body and as a community activist whose efforts were recognized by the Obama administration at a July White House reception.
Mr. Allgaier, whose efforts increased the care and services needed by those living with HIV and AIDS, died Nov. 27 of complications related to cancer
