Hepatitis C is a nasty disease that can lie dormant for years before attacking the liver. It's an emerging public health crisis: Five times more people have it than have HIV. It's such a crisis that the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force recommends every American born between 1945 and 1965 be tested. That's every baby boomer.
