From what I have read they provide help to patients across the country to resolve healthcare access and insurance issues, at no charge to the patient. You have access to a doctor and access to insurance. Apparently my liver has to deteriorate sufficiently in order to warrant the medication. Ironically my doctor agrees treating the disease earlier rather than later is much less expensive, yet the insurance company is choosing the more expensive option. At this time i am trying to find more information about acquiring the medication overseas. As a middle class American, i do not have an extra $80k to pay for my own medical treatment.
