He is investigating claims of bad medical practices at the dental clinic. Investigators say one dentist failed to change gloves between patients.
At least five patients have tested positive for either hepatitis B or C.
I think the person in question, the dentist, should have been here, giving an apology, what his actions were and so I think that should have started with him speaking on what his procedures were and why we're here today was based because of his actions," said Sgt. Jackie Williams, Air Force veteran.
Veterans' officials testified that they're improving communication, hygiene training and patient feedback at the clinic.
